Beach Life

Family time for me is the most important part of my life. Having my business has given me the opportunity to work around my children and not miss their childhood. Having the flexibility to choose when I work means I can take the kids off on holidays and days out as soon as the sun is shining. I'm making the most of the time we have before they both start school.

Some of our favourite days out are at the beach, being in Essex we tend to go to Frinton on Sea. We pop our little beach tent up, sit and eat our fish and chips and build sandcasltes that last all of 2 minutes before the kids squash them!

However our favourite place is Cornwall, we've been lucky enough to visit twice this year, and I've already booked Holywell again for next year. Holywell beach is stunning, with beautiful sunsets over the dunes, a vast beach and little rockpools perfect for looking for sealife. I love seeing the kids digging, collecting shells, running about and splashing in the sea, they love to be outdoors and seeing them playing in the sand is priceless. They've made so many memories and have learnt so much just from playing outside, I love that no technology or toys are involved its imagination, asking questions and generally being wild and care free. It's what childhood should be about and it goes far too quick, 18 is the number of summer holidays you have until they're 'adults' its such a short time not to make the most of it.

Here's a few of my top beaches to visit in Cornwall

Holywell Beach, Fistral Beach, Hayle Beach, Gwithian & Marazion
